As the peach season draws to a close – it’s July to September in the UK – make the most of their ripeness with these three recipes, in celebration of Roald Dahl day.
PEACH YOGHURT POT CAKE
Simple is best with this recipe from Mrs Rachel Brady, basically the ingredients are measured out using a yoghurt pot! It looks fab, it’s quick and easy to make, and it’s not too sweet. This is a brilliant one to make with the kids – or let them crack on with themselves. Delicious.
SPICY PEACH & AVOCADO SALAD
This one makes my mouth water! I love avocado. I love peaches. Add a little chilli and you have a taste sensation! And mint, nom, nom, nom. It’s another easy make, so head over to Country Living to get the full recipe.
PORK CHOPS WITH BBQ PEACH SAUCE
BBQ sauce and peaches scream summer, but add pork chops to the mix and you have a hearty autumn meal. This is a fab paleo recipe from Paleo Leap, who has lots of other brilliant recipes so do have a browse.
I know I started this post with just three recipes for the family, but then I spotted this recipe and just had to share it; it’s one for the mamas and papas.
PEACH MARGARITA
Peaches. Check. Honey. Check. Tequila, Cointreau, check check check! This is the perfect late summer margarita which looks just like sunshine in a glass! Pop over to We Are Not Martha for the full recipe. After all, we don’t want those peaches spoiling!
