It took a little while to get back into the swing of things after our wonderful Easter break.
The weeks are flying past …. very quickly.
A lot of decisions had to be made.
All fabrics have been ordered and most have been delivered. All fabrics are organic.
Now time has come to finally finalise all print designs and get them sent off to get printed.
It was at this point that I got stuck. I was procrastinating so much ! Procrastination is one of the worst feelings ever and so stressful ! I went back and forth, back and forth with the size of print, the colour to print, which prints to use etc. It went ON and ON and ON !
One day it was one decision, next day I’d change my mind but then finally (I think) I made a final decision and sent it all off to the screen-printing studio this morning, before I change my mind again. Now I am just waiting for final quotes and we are ready to go.
With no time to waste, I called my seamstress and she came by at 10pm last night to pick up the plain fabrics to get sampling started. She is as excited as I am to see the collection come together and couldn’t wait until the today.
Garment labels and business cards have all been designed and about to get ordered this week. What do you think ?

Ps. Designing a sustainable, zero-waste, unisex collection that is commercially viable isn’t as straight forward as one might think but I think we are getting there …
