Inspired by Kathy Hutton – Prints.

I love the simplicity of Kathy Hutton’s work. I’ve added her business card in my little scrapbook, where I keep all things inspirational. Kathy is a traditional printmaker producing original, limited edition prints with a distinctive style of simple, freehand line work and splashes of colour.

Kathy has inspired me to think about the prints in the next collection. What do you think about this five colour stripe design?

I have also been working on some three colour designs. Again, what do you think?

I am not sure it is as good as the previous design but it is cheaper to print.

Maybe it is not stripes. Maybe it is something a bit more fun? It is kids wear we are designing after all!
