Following on from last weeks inspiration and clearing out the clutter, this week I want to show you some really easy clothes upcycles/refahions. It’s about repurposing what you have so it doesn’t end up in landfill and it saves you a money, too!

It’s time to rummage through your wardrobe (and the families wardrobes!) and pull out anything you loved but haven’t worn because it doesn’t fit, is a little worn, or maybe a little dated and turn it in to one of these.
If you don’t have leather pants or jackets you fancy cutting up to make a collar, and old handbag will do or if you live near a tannery (where skins are processed), pop in and ask for some off cuts. Or of course, you can use a faux leather. These could be packaged up prettily and gifted to friends.
All these finds are easy – and there’s even a few no sews in there – like that gorgeous maxi skirt to slip dress, so do let me know how you get on!
